Why most people fail

“Not-knowing is true knowledge.
Presuming to know is a disease.
First realize that you are sick;
then you can move toward health.”

“The Master is her own physician.
She has healed herself of all knowing.
Thus she is truly whole.”

What does this mean?

This is some pretty ancient sage wisdom.

I didn’t make it up…

I just located it.

So, in today’s terms, what does it really mean?

Here’s just one example…

Dumb and broke is understandable, right?
Ignorant and flat broke busted is easy to “get.”

More ancient wisdom…

“A fool and his money is soon parted…”

So when you meet people who are
obviously ignorant of life basics, it
makes sense that they find themselves
in “broke” situations…

But here’s the thing that is WEIRD…

Smart and broke.

College degree and flat broke.

Formally “educated” and busted.

That’s hard to understand.

How can seemingly intelligent people,
educated, with corporate jobs, find themselves
at age 35 or 40 with a second mortgage, a pallet
of high interest debt and a shaky FEAR situation
at “work” where their very employment is always
at risk?

How can you spend 40 years on this planet
and “do everything right” and get degrees
and “be smart” and end up flat broke?

—————————–

Not always, but often if you talk to
people in that situation and you are
trained to really listen DEEP to what
they say…

You’ll hear EGO.

You’ll hear “know it all.”

You’ll hear a level of arrogance
that most people can’t hear…

Just under the surface…

It’s nothing new…

Wise people heard this thousands
of years ago too… so some came up
with wisdom pieces like this:

————————-

“Not-knowing is true knowledge.
Presuming to know is a disease.
First realize that you are sick;
then you can move toward health.”

“The Master is her own physician.
She has healed herself of all knowing.
Thus she is truly whole.”

—————————-

This rings true…

I lived with that “chip on the shoulder”
for years thinking I “knew it all” and
it was the strength of real mentors
who asked me:

“Well, if you’re so smart and you
have a degree and you’re so informed…

Why are you broke?”

All that you know…
All the decisions you’ve made with it…

Where has it brought you?

Is it enough?

Are you hungry and humble (smart)
enough, to open up to change…

To examine different concepts…
To try different ways…
To change what you thought you believed was true…
To change the thoughts you allow to control you…

Most really are not.

Only a few really are.

Their lives change, sometimes massively.

If you’re ready for a LIFE RE-DIRECTION,

It’s about a focus on more MIND,
not a focus on more money…

Change your mind…
By learning how it really works…
And taking CONTROL of it…
And your life changes. It has to.
